Out of balance? Thank you

I've been working on improving my health, but it's not just about food and exercise. Feeling whole and healthy is a mind, body and spirit kind of thing. There's been plenty of focus on body and I figured it was time to deal more with mind and spirit.

For an indetermined amount of time (check out the mega vauge vibe) I'm going to write things I'm thankful for. Unlike my time line, I want my thanks to be anything but vauge. I'm thanful for tons of things, but I want to slow down and pick out one specific thing per day.

I'm thankful that I was asked to substitute for a primary class today. My faith isn't rock solid and I have a tendancy to ask "but why?" internally all the time. This morning I got a chance to teach a lesson about the Holy Ghost and there was an adoreable girl in there who's never heard about th Holy Ghost before. Instantly, I was snapped out of my complacency and felt excited to share my love for the Holy Ghost and the gospel.

I have many faults and failings. There's also a gap between what I know I should do and the things I do, but I'm thankful that I was given the chance to spend with the small group of kids and learn from them.

What about you? Was someone nice to you today? Enhanse your life?

Primary is the best place to build a foundation of gospel knowledge. Teachers learn as much or more than their students.
